GTA 6 Vice City: officially named neighborhoods and places

Vice City in Rockstar’s description

Confirmed Rockstar calls Vice City the sun-and-fun capital of America and says it has come a long way from the 1980s. The region panel’s tagline is “Everything in Excess.” That frames the fictional city as a modern setting, but it does not publish a full street map, neighborhood boundaries, or an inventory of places players can enter.

Rockstar’s Vice City description refers to the 1980s; it does not establish which locations from an earlier game appear in GTA VI. For the larger state, including the Keys and Mount Kalaga, see our Leonida region guide.

Places named on the official region page

These details come from Rockstar’s Vice City panel. They give a sense of the city’s places without establishing a complete neighborhood directory. The page does not give an official map size. Our guide keeps names and descriptions separate from claims about exploration or missions.

Locations named in edition bonuses

Confirmed The Vintage Vice City Pack includes the Shore Court garage alongside Ocean Beach and a ’55 Vapid Stanier sedan. That pack is available with all pre-orders and purchases before November 20, according to Rockstar. The Ultimate Edition Upgrade separately lists Paradise Garage in Watson Bay with a ’67 Vapid Dominator Buggy.

Rockstar also names One-Eyed Willie’s mod shop at Lake Leonida in the Ultimate list. The dossier does not place Lake Leonida within Vice City, so it should not be listed as a confirmed Vice City neighborhood. What the names do and do not tell us

Analysis The official descriptions point to a coastal city with distinct commercial and cultural areas. They support broad expectations about setting and tone. They do not tell us which interiors are usable, whether each place hosts a mission, or how quickly a character can travel between them. Those questions need later official information or our own post-launch testing.

The character profiles name several people connected to Vice City, including Boobie Ike and Dre’Quan Priest. That is useful story context at the marketing level; it is not a guide to where those characters appear in play.

What hasn’t been announced

Not announced Rockstar hasn’t announced a complete Vice City neighborhood list or numeric map size yet (as of September 25, 2026). We will use the official place names as published and update this guide when there is more primary information.

Place names from different kinds of sources

Analysis Rockstar’s region page and edition-bonus panel serve different purposes. The region page introduces the city’s character through Ocean Beach, Little Cuba, Tisha-Wocka and VC Port. The bonus panel names garages and a mod shop as contents tied to a purchase. A location named in a bonus list is real in Rockstar’s marketing, but that does not tell us how open the surrounding area is or what a player can do there.

Ocean Beach has the clearest overlap: it appears in the Vice City description and in the Vintage Vice City Pack’s Shore Court garage description. Watson Bay is named with Paradise Garage in the Ultimate list. Lake Leonida is named with a mod shop, but the dossier does not place it within Vice City. Keeping those distinctions prevents a guide from turning a product inventory into an unsupported city map. When Rockstar publishes more geographic detail, this guide can add it with the source and check date attached.
